Retreats & Workshops
Following Jesus’ example of taking time apart for re-centering as well as his example of deeper connection with his world, St. Paul’s offers various retreats and workshops throughout the year.
“From Exclusion to Embrace: Having Difficult Discussions without Getting Indigestion,” March 18, 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Building on his first workshop on reconciliation, Dr. Carl Stauffer will expand on how to do the work of reconciliation in our own lives, including practicing difficult but necessary conversations. $10 suggested donation for lunch. For more information contact Pete Nunnally at firstname.lastname@example.org
Bearing Love into the Mess: The parish retreat at Shrine Mont will be May 12-14, and will be facilitated by the Rev. Gary Commins, author of Becoming Bridges: The Spirit and Practice of Diversity and If We Could Only See: Mystical Vision and Social Transformation. Gary will draw on his decades of ministry with diverse populations in downtown settings to present the case for both mysticism and activism. Register at this link.
