Weddings
In marriage, partners enter into a lifelong union. They make their vows of fidelity before family, friends, and the Church and ask for the strength to keep the promises and vows they make. The Sacrament of Marriage and the Blessing of Same Gender Relationships is available at St. Paul’s for those who have been regular, worshiping members of the St. Paul’s community for at least one year. Weddings at St. Paul’s are conducted according to the marriage liturgy found in our Book of Common Prayer, BCP and for same-gender weddings, an adaptation of that liturgy that follows guidelines set forth by our bishop: Same Gender. We do not conduct these rituals during the seasons of Advent (December) or Lent (generally February/March). Considering a lifelong union?
