“My PYM Experience”: An Account of Senior Youth Weekend by St. Paul’s Teen Member, Eleanor Baird

Event Information

When:
November 14th, 2018 at 6:30 pm
Where:
Rev. Molly's house

Want to read a book while asking deep questions about the world? Want to spend a little time doing spiritual practices in community? This group is for you. Each week, we will read a chapter of Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time with a central theme in mind, one that draws out deeper conversation and reflection while staying grounded in the text.

We will be reading the book as we might read a sacred text like the Bible or the Koran, employing themes and deep discussion to use the book as a lens for our lives. We will end the group by doing a spiritual practice in community.

The group will meet Wednesdays: 11/14, 11/28, 12/5, and 12/12. Come at 6:30 pm for a little food, 7 pm sharp for book discussion. We will wrap up by 8:15 pm.

Discussions will be held at Rev. Molly’s house. Books are available for purchase ($5) in Molly’s office. Please let Molly know you are coming by sending her a message here.

Hope to see you there!
