St. Paul’s staff, clergy and vestry bring a wide variety of talents and experiences to the table. Whether they’re preaching, teaching, playing instruments, or directing programs and meetings, this diverse group is humbled and proud to be utilizing their spiritual and professional gifts for the glory of God and the operations of the church!

Our Clergy

The Rev. Gwynn Crichton / Associate Rector for Pastoral Care and Community Engagement

The Reverend Gwynn Crichton graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in May 2020 and was ordained to the priesthood on September 14, 2020. A cradle Episcopalian, Gwynn grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. Gwynn is passionate about empowering disciples as the Body of Christ for loving and serving others to make God’s reign of love and justice known to all of creation.

Dichelle Jordan / Graphic Design and Communications Assistant

As a recent graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Dichelle has always had a love for creativity and the arts.

Michael Dabney / Facilities Supervisor

Mike, a Richmond native, loves the people and the atmosphere here, especially the outreach ministries and the way they help people.

Bo Cresswell / Youth Ministry Coordinator

Bo loves St. Paul’s and is committed to creating a safe, welcoming space in which our young people will learn, grow, and cultivate meaningful connections with God and with the church.

Sarah Nolan / Director of Development and Communications

Sarah recently relocated to Richmond from California, where she was the co-founder and Director of Programs and Community Partnerships at The Abundant Table, an Episcopal-rooted educational farm and worshiping community.

Dr. Christopher Reynolds / Director of Music and Organist

Christopher holds a doctor of musical arts degree in organ performance and church music from the University of Michigan, studying with world-renowned organist Dr. Marilyn Mason.

Rich Wolkiewicz / Director of Administration and Finance

Rich, a native of Long Island, joined St. Paul’s after a 28-year career in the country club industry as a general manager and golf course superintendent.

Michele Tisdol / Nursery Coordinator

Michele is a 20-year resident of Richmond originally from New Jersey.  She has mostly worked in medical offices and possesses a medical assistant diploma. Michele has worked in the St. Paul’s nursery for 5 years, and previously worked at 2nd Presbyterian for 6 years.

Our Vestry

A vestry is a governing body for an Episcopal church. The functions of the vestry are outlined in the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. St. Paul’s is led by a Vestry consisting of 12 members with four new members elected each year to serve a 3-year term. The Treasurer is not a member of the vestry. The senior warden and junior warden lead the vestry.
