Pilgrimage to Montgomery, Alabama
Would you like to visit such historic landmarks as the Civil Rights Memorial Center; the National Museum for Peace and Justice; The Legacy Museum; the Rosa Parks Library and Museum, and Dester Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church?
Well, now is the time to do so! The History and Reconciliation Initiative is planning a pilgrimage to Montgomery, Alabama for October 2019! The dates are Friday, October 11 – Wednesday, October 16th. Come with us for this lesson in the history of Civil Rights and witness how Montgomery has sought reconciliation with its history.
Each person’s fee for transportation on the bus, plus group tickets to the museums, is $150. Hotel rooms and meals are each traveler’s responsibility; however, there are group rates available at each hotel, breakfast included. All rooms are double occupancy.
