For the 2021 Lenten Speaker Series, St. Paul’s is featuring various poets and artists who will reflect on the concept of journey and journeying together during this season of pandemic and political turmoil.

This week’s speaker is poet and writer, Tanya Olson.

Tanya Olson is the author of the poetry collections STAY (YesYes Books, 2019) and BOYISHLY (YesYes Books, 2013), which received a 2014 American Book Award. Her poem “54 Prince” was chosen for inclusion in Best American Poems 2015. She was named a 2011 Lambda Fellow by the Lambda Literary Foundation and won a Discovery/Boston Review prize in 2010. Tanya Olson lives in Silver Spring, Maryland and is a Senior Lecturer in English at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. You can find Tanya’s most recent book HERE.
