We invite you to join us for our February Forum Series: Food and Faith. This four-week series will touch on creation care as a way of honoring God, re-nourishing one’s own body, serving others, and understanding the context of humanity’s role in creation within the Bible. Based on a course at Union Presbyterian Seminary titled “The Theology and Politics of Food,” our Parish Intern, Cat Parler, will lead this series under the mentorship of Professor Dawn DeVries, John Newton Thomas Professor of Systematic Theology. Cat is a middle-level student at Union Presbyterian Seminary and is doing her parish internship here at St. Paul’s. As a part of her internship, she has the opportunity to volunteer weekly at Shalom Farms.
