Event Information

When:

Where:
St. Paul's Episcopal Church
815 E. Grace Street

Join Associate Rector Gwynn Crichton at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays in June (12, 19, & 26) to read, reflect, and discuss current social topics based on selected articles from the Christian Century Magazine. Christian Century has informed and shaped progressive, mainline Christianity for decades and what it means to think critically and live faithfully in our time and place. We will be engaging the following articles.

Sunday, June 12th: “The Book of Exodus Includes a Story About Reparations for Slavery” by Matthew Schlimm (published on December 27, 2021)
Sunday, June 19th: “Climate Change is a Symptom of a Deeper Planetary Dysfunction” by Ragan Sutterfield (published September 8, 2021)
Sunday, June 26th: “Devil in the Algorithm” by the Editors (published May 13, 2022)

Please join us in the Parish Hall for this time of faithful conversation and reflection on challenging and life-giving social conversations as we prepare to worship and praise God. Contact Rev. Gwynn with any questions.
