Church in Prayer | Lent @ St. Paul’s

Choral Evensong

The ancient practice of singing evening prayers is a longstanding practice in many Christian traditions. In English cathedrals, this practice developed, through the centuries, into a special sung service. All are welcome to join us for a special service of Choral Evensong to celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration. In-person and live-streamed.

For some, Christmas can be a painful, difficult, and lonely time of year because of the recent loss of a loved one or painful memories. The Liturgy of the Longest Night, also known as “Blue Christmas,” is symbolically held around the Winter Solstice. This service creates a sacred space to lift up our grief and lament to God as we wait together in hope and longing for the Eternal Word Made Flesh to be born anew in our weary hearts and world. Please join us for this special service of Holy Eucharist on Wednesday, December 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s.

In-person and live-streamed. Please e-mail Linda Willis by Sunday, December 19th if you need childcare.
