Following the Way: The Camino de Santiago

(Sunday, February 9 at 5 p.m., St. Paul’s Parish Hall)

On Sunday, February 9th, join fellow parishioner, Wilson Whitehurst, as he shares his thirty-five day, 470-mile pilgrimage story. We will gather for a presentation in the Parish Hall at 5:00 p.m. followed by a light reception with food and beverages (the Whitehursts are even bringing some Spanish wine to share!).

The Camino de Santiago (The Way of St. James) is a pilgrimage walk across Northern Spain that dates back to the ninth century. Each year, 300,000 pilgrims from all over the world are called to this journey of stunning vistas and natural beauty that challenges the body, opens the mind, and enriches the soul.

RSVPs are encouraged (but not required) by Thursday, February 6th. You can sign up on a sheet located in the gathering area of the parish house or email Keli Shipley Cooper at kshipleycooper@stpaulsrva.org.
