The Rev. Rainey Dankel graduated from high school in Richmond, so coming to St. Paul’s was, in a way, a “return to her roots”.  After leaving the Richmond area, she spent a good part of her adult life with her late husband in Wilmington, N.C. working in city planning and government, as well as public radio. Rainey pursued the call to ministry and was ordained into the diaconate in the late 1990s and as a priest following seminary at Berkeley/Yale.  She served as Associate Rector at Trinity Church Boston. Rainey currently serves as our Associate Rector for Parish Life.
