Dr. Christopher Reynolds / Director of Music and Organist
Christopher was appointed Director of Music and Organist at St. Paul’s in January of 2016. Prior to this appointment, Christopher was the Associate Director of Music at Christ Church Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Christopher holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance and Church Music from the University of Michigan, studying with world-renowned organist, Dr. Marilyn Mason. He also earned both a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, with a Performance Certificate in Organ, and a Master of Music in Organ Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, where he studied with Dr. Steven Cooksey and Dr. W. Dudley Oakes. Christopher holds the Choirmaster Certificate from the American Guild of Organists (AGO) and is also active with the Association of Anglican Musicians. Christopher is the past Dean of the Richmond Chapter of the AGO and is on the planning committee for the 2022 Annual Conference of the Association of Anglican Musicians.
