St. Paul’s staff, clergy and vestry bring a wide variety of talents and experiences to the table. Whether they’re preaching, teaching, playing instruments, or directing programs and meetings, this diverse group is humbled and proud to be utilizing their spiritual and professional gifts for the glory of God and the operations of the church!

Our Clergy

The Rev. Bill Queen / Interim Rector

The Rev. Bill Queen serves as St. Paul’s interim rector, providing pastoral support as well as spiritual leadership for the congregation.

The Rev. Ben Campbell / Pastoral Associate

“Community transformation is what Christianity is about,” according to pastoral associate Ben Campbell. “As people reckon with what they really believe, you can feel the energy, you can feel the release of guilt and sense of hypocrisy.”

Keli Cooper / Minister for Faith Formation

Keli is a recent graduate of the M.Div. program at Union Presbyterian Seminary and formerly was the youth and young adult ministry coordinator/pastoral assistant at First Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, Tenn.

Michael Dabney / Sexton

Mike, a Richmond native, loves the people and the atmosphere here, especially the outreach ministries and the way they help people.

Sarah A. Foote / Director of Communications

Sarah comes to us with a nonprofit background, having worked in development, communications, volunteer coordination and event-planning in D.C. and Virginia.

Dr. Christopher Graham / Historian

A past Guest Curator for the American Civil War Museum and curator at the North Carolina Museum of History and the North Carolina State Historic Sites, and chair of the history Research group for St. Paul’s HRI, we are richly blessed to have the opportunity to benefit from Chris’ professional experience and deep commitment to our work.

Amy Malloy / MICAH/CIS Coordinator

Amy, the Micah/Communities in Schools site coordinator at Woodville Elementary in Richmond, helps facilitate our partnership with Woodville’s kids and their families.

Sarah Nolan / Minister for Stewardship

Sarah recently relocated to Richmond from California, where she was the co-founder and Director of Programs and Community Partnerships at The Abundant Table, an Episcopal-rooted educational farm and worshiping community.

Lynn Williams / Minister of Outreach

Lynn Williams serves as the Minister of Outreach at St. Paul’s. She is a transplant from Northern California who has been living in Richmond for the last 14 years and loves Richmond!

Rich Wolkiewicz / Director of Administration and Finance

Rich, a native of Long Island, joined St. Paul’s after a 28-year career in the country club industry as a general manager and golf course superintendent.

Maggy Barnes / Nursery Staff

Maggy has worked with children and infants for 6+ years. She relocated from Northern Virginia, where she was employed at the Kay School, to Richmond in the summer of 2018. During the week, she works at the day school at United Methodist Family Services (UMFS), assisting academically- and behaviorally-challenged children in the foster care system.

Michele Tisdol / Nursery Coordinator

Michele is a 20-year resident of Richmond originally from New Jersey.  She has mostly worked in medical offices and possesses a medical assistant diploma. Michele has worked in the St. Paul’s nursery for 5 years, and previously worked at 2nd Presbyterian for 6 years.

Our Vestry

A vestry is the governing body for an Episcopal church. The functions of the vestry are outlined in the Constitution and Canons of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. St. Paul’s is led by a Vestry consisting of 14 members who are elected for 3-year terms on a rotating basis. The senior warden and junior warden lead them.
