St. Paul’s Outreach: Faith in Action
“He has shown all you people what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” - Micah 6:8
Outreach has been a strong and long standing tradition here at St. Paul’s. We are called to put our “Faith in Action.” Outreach is an integral part of who we are as a church.
St. Paul’s members carry their faith into action through St. Paul’s core outreach ministries. These ministries have been shaped by who we are and where we find ourselves in the heart of the city and through our connection to the general Episcopal Church. We have opportunities from the center of Richmond to the other side of the globe. We transform lives through building lasting relationships. We provide intentional, sustainable changes to our community through our work in outreach.
We invite you to participate in our ministries:
Emmaus: Homeless and Working Poor
Micah: Tutoring or mentoring, under-served families/youth at Woodville Elementary School
Eyes on Richmond: Fall speaker series focusing on pertinent issues concerning Richmond
Jazz Lunch: Spring jazz music series partnering with local jazz society
Amos: Social justice ministry
Global Missions: Mission work in Mwitikira, Tanzania
